  1. Hello Abbie,

I'm Evelyn and I will be working with the Summer Learning Journey team for 2018-2019 to read and follow amazing blog posts like yours! I am so excited to read what pops into that wonderful brain of yours and hope you have fun on this journey!

Those are some interesting facts about New Zealand! I have lived here my whole life and I didn't know about any of these facts so thank you for telling me more about our country, well done Abbie! Please remember to make sure you put the information into your own words next time. I read about Kings and Queens all the time in fairy tales, books and movies so I think it's pretty awesome that our country has a Queen. Would you want to be a part of the royal family? You are correct with your second fact, there aren't many people living in New Zealand if you compare it to other countries. I was born and raised in New Zealand but I come from Taiwan, a country in Asia with many, many people - it has five times more people than New Zealand! It's a very busy country because of the large number of people that live there. Do you think you would like to live in another country with a lot of people? It can get a bit noisy at times but you get to meet a lot of new friends. Countries with a lot of people usually means you have to share a lot of space with other people so we're very lucky to call New Zealand home!

    Happy blogging,
    Evelyn :D
